NC Prisoner Legal Services, Inc. welcomes referrals from members of the legal community.  If you have a client or former client housed in a NC DOC or county jail facility who needs our help, please call 919-856-2200 and ask to speak with the executive director or the civil or post- conviction team leader.

If you represent a client on direct appeal, but you believe there may be a viable issue to raise in a Motion for Appropriate Relief, please contact the Office of the Appellate Defender. That office will refer the case to us in appropriate circumstances for evaluation of when to proceed with an MAR.
